Since 2017, Sylvain has held the position of Vice-President for the Quebec chapter of the Canadian Credit Institute, a prestigious professional association with roots dating back to 1928. In this role, Sylvain plays a pivotal role in organizing the annual Fraud Symposium held in Montreal, a key event for professionals in the field.

 

With a career spanning nearly two decades, Sylvain has served as a specialized insolvency advisor for fraud cases from 2004 to 2018. Additionally, Sylvain has provided strategic guidance to several groups of fraud victims between 2011 and 2023. His commitment to excellence is further demonstrated by his membership in esteemed organizations such as the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and ASIS International, Montreal Chapter.

Introducing William, a seasoned professional with a background in elite military service and law enforcement. With years in the Air Force Special Forces, William gained invaluable experience in high-pressure situations and overseas missions, demonstrating unwavering commitment and dedication to public service.

 

Transitioning to the national police force, William's focus shifted towards serving the most vulnerable members of society, including widows and orphans. His diverse career within law enforcement allowed him to refine his skills and expertise, particularly in border security and document fraud detection.

 

As a border police officer, William collaborated with international agencies such as "Frontex," showcasing his proficiency as a screener, interviewer, and border guard. William’s specialization in document fraud and identity within immigration further solidified his reputation as an expert in the field.

 

William's leadership roles include serving as detachment leader at the Directorate for the Study of Document Fraud and Identity (DEFDI) and leading the Center for Expertise and Resources for the Exchange of Foreign Driver's Licenses (CERT EPE). At Nantes-Atlantique Airport, he supervised a large team and managed critical logistics, equipment, and vehicle operations.

 

An accomplished trainer, William conducts training sessions on document fraud detection in both public and private sectors. He also provides crucial support to judicial police and produces ANARISK reports on immigration fraud flows.

 

Recognized as an occasional internal police trainer for CNI/PASSPORT titles, William's expertise is sought after across various resource centers, where he trains instructors in issuing these vital documents.

Hamid is a passioned and seasoned professor in information technology with 27 years of experience in Canada and on international project. His expertise spans across networks, cybersecurity, and competency-based pedagogy. Hamid is not just an educator; he's a licensed trainer of trainers in Cisco technologies, certified by both Cisco and Microsoft.

 

With degrees in Electronics Engineering and a Master's in Information Systems Management from ENAP, Montreal, Hamid is a recognized specialist in competency-based approaches and learning assessment.

 

Hamid holds a plethora of Cisco certifications, including CCNA Networking, CCNA Security, and CCNP Enterprise Core, among others. He's also proficient in programming languages like C++, Python, and API.

 

As an accomplished speaker and recognized expert in his field, Hamid has received numerous accolades for his excellence in teaching, including Instructor Excellence Awards and recognition for 20 years of service at Cisco.

Mohammad earned his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in computer software engineering, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, respectively, from the prestigious École de Technologie Supérieure (ÉTS), Montreal, QC, Canada.

 

With a rich academic background, Mohammad's journey led him to a fulfilling Industrial postdoctoral fellowship at Desjardins, Quebec's largest financial institution. Recognized for his exceptional talent, Mohammad transitioned into a pivotal role as Senior Data and AI Scientist at Desjardins, where he made significant contributions to fraud detection and privacy preservation software solutions.

 

Currently, Mohammad serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Verisafe, where he continues to drive technological innovation and excellence. Throughout his career, Mohammad has developed and maintained cutting-edge software solutions for various organizations, leveraging his expertise to address complex challenges in fraud detection.

 

A prolific researcher, Mohammad has published over 15 articles in top-tier journals and conferences, with a primary focus on generative models, particularly generative transformer neural networks.
